ConnectMiles is the program of Copa Airlines, a member of Star Alliance. Your PreferProgram status comes from qualifying miles or qualifying segments earned in a calendar year on Copa and Star Alliance flights, as long as you also fly at least four paid segments on Copa Airlines.

Qualifying miles are worked out from the same percentage of the distance. Qualifying miles and segments can be earned on Copa Airlines, Copa Airlines Colombia and Star Alliance member airlines.

Every level also needs at least four paid segments on Copa Airlines in the calendar year, which one round trip with a connection can supply.

Reaching these levels gives you Star Alliance status, recognized by every Star Alliance airline. Levels below the first one listed carry no alliance status.

Star Alliance Gold

- Priority boarding (where available)

- Extra baggage allowance: 20 kg or one more piece, depending on the airline
- Lounge access at over 1,000 lounges worldwide, when flying any Star Alliance airline (some restrictions apply)
- Gold Track fast lanes at security and immigration, where available
