Aegean Miles+Bonus guide

Miles+Bonus is the program of Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air, Greece's largest airline group, and Aegean is a member of Star Alliance. You earn Tier Miles toward status and Award Miles to spend, based on your route and fare. The rules change on November 5, 2026, with new flight-based targets and a new Platinum tier.

The new upgrade rules start on November 5, 2026. The new rules for keeping a tier apply to each member after their next renewal date, and everyone gets at least 12 months to collect the miles or flights. Only miles earned by flying count as Tier Miles. Silver gives Star Alliance Silver and Gold gives Star Alliance Gold.
Earning
Aegean's miles depend on the route and the fare family you buy (Light, GoLight, Flex, Family, Saver, ComfortFlex, Comfort, Comfort Plus, Business Basic or Business), and it shows them in a calculator rather than a table.
What your Miles+Bonus level means across Star Alliance
Reaching these levels gives you Star Alliance status, recognized by every Star Alliance airline. Levels below the first one listed carry no alliance status.

Star Alliance Silver
- Priority waitlisting when your class of service is fully booked
- Priority airport standby (where the law allows)
Star Alliance Gold
- Everything in Silver
- Priority check-in
- Priority boarding (where available)
- Priority baggage handling
- Extra baggage allowance: 20 kg or one more piece, depending on the airline
- Lounge access at over 1,000 lounges worldwide, when flying any Star Alliance airline (some restrictions apply)
- Gold Track fast lanes at security and immigration, where available

Who it suits
Travelers who fly within Greece and between Greece and Europe, where the new flight-count targets are easier to reach than the Tier Miles. Sixteen flights a year reach Silver from November 5, 2026, and 32 reach Gold.
