IndiGo BluChip is the program of IndiGo, India's largest airline. You earn BluChips by spending on IndiGo flights, and move up from Blu 3 to Blu 2 and Blu 1 by spending a set amount and taking a minimum number of flights.

Earning BluChips
Every ₹100 of base fare and fuel surcharge on an IndiGo flight earns 8 BluChips, plus a tier bonus for Blu 2 and Blu 1 members. Booking on the IndiGo website or app adds a channel bonus of 4 more.
| Tier | Base | Tier bonus | Booking direct |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blu 3 | 8 per ₹100 | None | +4 per ₹100 |
| Blu 2 | 8 per ₹100 | +2 per ₹100 | +4 per ₹100 |
| Blu 1 | 8 per ₹100 | +4 per ₹100 | +4 per ₹100 |
IndiGo-numbered flights operated by its codeshare partners, Turkish Airlines and Qantas, earn BluChips too. BluChips can only be spent on flights marketed and operated by IndiGo, for you or up to five nominees, and they don't expire while your account stays active.
Tiers
| Tier | Spend on IndiGo flights in 365 days | And flights |
|---|---|---|
| Blu 2 | ₹1,00,000 | At least 4 |
| Blu 1 | ₹2,00,000 | At least 8 |
You need both the spend and the flights. Spend means the base fare and fuel surcharge on revenue tickets; award flights don't count. IndiGo checks for upgrades every day, and a tier lasts 12 months. On its anniversary IndiGo looks at the previous 365 days to decide whether you keep it.
Blu 2 and Blu 1 come with 20 and 40 6E Prime passes and discounts on seats, extra baggage and Fast Forward. IndiGo isn't in an airline alliance, so BluChip tiers don't give status with other airlines.
Alliance status
IndiGo isn't in Star Alliance, oneworld or SkyTeam, so its levels don't carry alliance status or the alliance lounge, priority and baggage benefits. Its own perks are listed on the airline's website.
Who it suits
