LOT Polish Airlines Miles & More guide
Rules checked October 5, 2026
LOT Polish Airlines is a member of Star Alliance and a Miles & More partner, so LOT flights earn the same Points as Lufthansa Group flights. Status comes from Points a fixed amount per flight, set by your travel class and whether the flight stays within a continent. For the full rules of the program, see our Miles & More guide.
At a glance
| Alliance | Star Alliance |
|---|---|
| How you earn Points | A fixed amount per flight by travel class and whether it is continental or intercontinental |
| Status currency | Points and Qualifying Points, or HON Circle Points |
| Qualifying period | The calendar year |
| Levels | Frequent Traveller, Senator, HON Circle |
Points on LOT flights
| Economy | Premium Economy | Business | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Continental flights | 20 | 20 | 40 |
| Intercontinental flights | 60 | 80 | 200 |
You earn Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points together. Points and Qualifying Points are awarded in every travel class, and HON Circle Points only in Business Class. Every member earns the same number, whatever their status, and you only earn Points on a flight if Miles are also credited for it. Warsaw to New York in Business earns 200 Points, 200 Qualifying Points and 200 HON Circle Points.
Status
| Level | Points | Qualifying Points | HON Circle Points | Star Alliance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Frequent Traveller | 650 | 325 | Silver | |
| Senator | 2,000 | 1,000 | Gold | |
| HON Circle | 6,000 | Gold |
You reach a level when you earn those numbers in one calendar year. Miles on LOT flights depend on your booking class and distance, and Miles & More publishes them in its travel calculator rather than as a Points table, so the calculator shows Points only.
What your Miles & More level means across Star Alliance
Reaching these levels gives you Star Alliance status, recognized by every Star Alliance airline. Levels below the first one listed carry no alliance status.
| Your Miles & More level | Star Alliance status |
