Korean Air SKYPASS guide

SKYPASS is Korean Air's programme and a member of SkyTeam. Status is based on miles flown with Korean Air and SkyTeam partners, and two tiers are for life. Asiana's programme joins SKYPASS on 17 December 2026.

Morning Calm is kept by flying 30,000 miles within your two-year membership. Flight points are 2 per international flight and 1 per domestic flight within Korea. Morning Calm Premium and Million Miler are lifetime tiers and never need renewing.
The Asiana merger
Asiana leaves Star Alliance on 16 December and becomes part of Korean Air on 17 December. Asiana Club balances move into SKYPASS as a separate balance usable for 10 years, and can be converted into SKYPASS miles, one for one for miles earned by flying and at 0.82 for partner miles. Asiana elite members are matched to the equivalent SKYPASS tier. See our news page for details.
Who it suits
Korea-based travellers and anyone flying Korean Air regularly. The lifetime tiers make it rewarding for long-term loyalty.
