Fiji Airways and AAdvantage guide
Rules checked October 5, 2026
Fiji Airways, a member of oneworld, has adopted American Airlines' AAdvantage as its loyalty program. So there is no separate Fiji Airways program to track: you earn miles and Loyalty Points on Fiji flights in AAdvantage, and you can use them across oneworld. For how AAdvantage status works, see our AAdvantage guide.

Earning on Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways marketed flights, and Fiji Airways codeshare flights operated by American Airlines or Fiji Airways, earn AAdvantage miles by ticket price, and the Loyalty Points equal the miles. Eligible published fares are in these booking codes:
| Cabin | Eligible booking codes |
|---|---|
| Business | J, D, C, I, Z |
| Economy | Y, B, H, K, M, L, W, V, S, N, Q, O, T, G, R |
Fiji Airways LITE fares bought from December 17, 2025 earn no miles or Loyalty Points. Some exception fares, and cases where the fare details aren't available, earn a percentage of the distance flown by booking code instead. Flights ticketed on an American flight number but operated by Fiji Airways earn by American's mileage chart.
